Power & Vibration: The Sound of Revolution

Power and Vibration: The Sound of Revolution is a mini series podcast coming out of the University of Virginia. Throughout the 6 episodes, host Sara Bastianelli delves into the musical and political history of Argentina, Iran, England, Brazil, and the United States to find out why social justice movements align closely with musical genres and how music is used as a tool to strengthen protests. Across time and space, music is an incredibly powerful form of protest. What can we learn from examining the music of social justice movements across the world? And how can we apply it to the current social battles being fought today?
